Albertina Carrara, our year three maths and geography teacher tells us:

Digital Storytelling consists of organising selected content from the web in a coherent system, supported by a narrative structure, so as to obtain a story consisting of multiple elements of various formats (video, audio, images, texts, maps, etc.).
It is therefore a form of narration particularly suitable for teaching as it fascinates pupils thanks to the highly rewarding character of a narrative approach.
Storytelling guarantees easier access to abstract and complex concepts, as well as facilitating the memorisation of the story on a cognitive level.
The following video was made for our geography lesson which was based on the “river” topic which I have been looking at with my students in this period of distance learning.
