“The lake” is the new geography topic intended for our year three pupils and is introduced by the video created by Miss Albertina through the use of digital storytelling to make the subject more attractive.
The purpose of this methodology is to ensure that with the help of the images, the evocative sounds and the narration of the teacher, children can learn the specific terminologies of the topic and are then able to verbally expose the topic referring to information heard.
The presentation is to be considered as the first, introductory step of the lessons and provides insights that can be take on board. The ability to watch the video again whenever they want makes this tool an extremely useful resource.
