Miss Kizzy Kaye, dramatic arts teacher at Little England explains:

 

In difficult situations like this, theatre can be a useful instrument to help children express their emotions. Through various activities and challenges we can help encourage childen to show their creativity and imagination.

 

The first challenge was to have an online talent competition. The children were asked to create brief videos and demonstrations which show off their unique talents or personal interests! Another challenge was to choose a scene from a film or a song and recreate it in their houses by using whatever objects or instruments they could find. The vhildren came up with some incredible work! Children love playing and creating magical worlds and these challenges give them the opportunity to continue doing this. Obviously it is not the same as face-to-face contact but during this time the Little England pupils welcomed the challenge, showing off their incredible imagination and capacity to reinvent. The work produced is truly amazing and heartwarming.
